C# 3.0 Features with Claudio

Yesterday, Claudio Lassala gave a great presentation on C# 3.0 features. This is the second webcast that I’ve organised with Claudio, the first one being on .Net productivity tips and tricks. In total, we received around 70 registrations for this one and 33 attendees so I’m pleased with the outcome.

The topics that Claudio talked about included Object Initializers, Anonymous Types, Type Inference, Extension Methods and Lambda Expressions. The explanations on the slides were very concise which made it easy to understand, particularly when it came to Lambda Expressions which is probably one of the more complex topics. One of my favourite parts was where he compares an Expression Tree to a husband understanding his irate wife!

For more info, the slides are available on Claudio’s blog: http://claudiolassala.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E2A4B22308B39CD2!311.entry
